Will bilic come good again?
Last season bilic exceed expectation and delivered fantastic entertaining football.

This year of course is the complete opposite where we only managing to grind out 1-0 wins in the last two weeks against non-top opposition. i am happy with him as our manager at the moment despite some very bizarre decisions especially this season, however, is this just a blip due to injuries etc. or is this a sign of things to come in the long term? Can we expect bilic to once again delight us with fantastic football and beating the top teams on their turf?

He seems very slow to react to problems on the pitch. It is a worry.

Someone's forgetting the way we played when Payet got injured last season?

Re: Will bilic come good again?
Put Cresswell, Arbeloa (+ Arthur & Byram), Ayew, Sahko & Carroll into that squad & we will look a million times better.
No full backs and no strikers ...: I'd like to see some other teams try that

Re: Will bilic come good again?
We do have strikers, two highly rated with honours in their career. One of which our manager has chased after for two summers. Losing our fullbacks is hugely unfortunate but only one them has a decent history in the starting line up.

Also, I have no idea how and where Ayew will fit in.

Our squad is too big to keep everyone happy and without injuries I can see it becoming a problem unless we off a couple in Jan.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
I think we probably will come good again at some point. But I don't think that should be the criteria for sticking with a coach. It should be whether we would improve better under different leadership. I think we could do better.

With comments like that I don't need to make your life a misery on here.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
Can't believe this negative shit.

Bilic has made a decisive change and put Obiang in front of the back four.......meanwhile we have virtually no strikers, Cresswell has been missing and most of our new signings are injured or coming back.

Fuck me............

I remember how last season we'd beat Sunderland 4-0 at home.

Oh, hang on.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
As I said, Zara has been a top target for two summers and was the 20m+ striker we aimed for in the summer. We have two young players behind him too. It's not like in the past when we had no one but Carlton Cole!

Re: Will bilic come good again?
He and the team have/had a load of monkeys to get off their back(s) following the move.

I think most have now been dealt with.

Sure we're not 19 points clear at the top of the league with the trophy already in our pocket, but I feel the movement is in the right direction - maybe not as fast, though as a moron's expectations.

We're not quite there yet, but the change in system has suited us better, We will have a high scoring game soon with this set up. We may lose but we look dangerous up front and open at the back.

I like it.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
Bilic can only do so much, we need the players who are injured back and also the players we have to step up and be more professional.

In a sense Bilic has come good by getting the defence on par with each other by picking the correct players for that role, West Ham surprise surprise need a Striker, God speed Carroll and Sakho.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
How many times have I read on here that we are due to give a team a spanking...

It's rare we score more than 2 let alone 4 but twonwins on the bounce is good.

I'll just say Billic left Zaza on 20mins too long, everyone could see it

Re: Will bilic come good again?
His decision making has been laughable

Taking Zaza off for Calleri !?!

Ashely Fletcher all fucking day long

Also for me Noble's on borrowed time....Fernandes is breathing down his neck

Fuck me I swear dome people just get off on moaning.

We were in the bottom three and playing terribly, we have just won two games on the trot.

Instead of whining why not just enjoy the fact we won and be relived we got a crucial goal.

My spelling is usually quite good but clearly not on that last post.

Still, it gives you lot more to moan about I suppose.

Re: Will bilic come good again?
It will be no disgrace to Noble if he is now past his "Best Before" date - he has been a terrific, even inspirational servant - to the club. I, for one, would not object if his name were (often) spoken in the same sentence as Bonds, As Brooking, Moore & Di Canio.

Legend? Yeah, OK maybe one step too far, but like all greats, he must realise that there will be a time he needs to re-assess his role; he is not getting any younger.

But he does have what Bonds had/still has. He lives and breathes the club. Fans know that. They can smell it. A graceful easing out of regular first team games could be beneficial to the team, the club and the player. I suspect his best, his most memorable, contribution to the club is yet to come.
